Dare to {Dream} ~ TpT Sellers Challenge

So, by now I am sure you are well aware of the spectacular group of ladies that have created the summer hype that is known as the TPT Seller Challenge.  It has taken the IG, Facebook, and Blogger World by storm!  For that, all I can say is, well played ladies, well played.  It has been so fun scrolling through my IG, Facebook, and Bloglovin feeds to read how everyone has gotten themselves motivated to makeover old products and now read all of their dreams. I bowed out of the action last week since I am new to TpT and do not really have any old products to makeover.  I just need to get some products finished so I can get them uploaded to my store:)  However, this week, I am on board!  Boy, do I have some dreams so I am here to link up to share them with you.  Here we go!

So, everyone has dreams, right? I have been feverishly reading everyone's posts this week to see how philosophical or surface-level we were going to get.  I sure do not want to be too far on either end of that spectrum if everyone else is on the other end, agree?!  Anyhooo...I digress.  People sure do have a lot to dream about.  I am going to be honest about what is on my mind right now, at this point in my career.

1.) A pool in my backyard!  Who else has seen the mind-blowing photos on IG of Reagan Tunstall's new resort backyard pool.  I know I am NOT the only one drooling over her set up.  It is absolutely gorgeous!  I have to say that I think I could even get my husband on board as soon as he got a good look at the outdoor kitchen set up.  I couldn't tell but if there was a big screen TV under that porch roof, then that would definitely seal the deal for him. Now, if that doesn't get me motivated, then nothing is going to.  It is as simple as that. Although, if a pool isn't going to happen, then a lakehouse with a boat would be a very suitable replacement.  I don't know about where you live but here in the midwest, it is getting steamy and who wouldn't want to be near water, right?! Enough said.

2.) My oldest goes off to college in August and, holy smokes, the reality of that tuition is staring me in the face.  I sure do not want to be college poor (again) but I also do not want them to start off their career drowning in student loans if I can help it.  Any little bit of help here would be most appreciated by her, my husband, and myself:)

3.) I have not been to Vegas yet but will be there this year.  I already know it is going to be fabulous so I am going on the assumption that I will want to go EVERY year.  I just need to show my husband that it is worth it!  That means that I will need to put all of the new knowledge that I will be gaining to good use!

That's it!  Pretty simple. Of course, I always want to be a better teacher each year.  Try new things. Get out of my comfort zone.  All of those deep and thoughtful dreams, sure.  But for now, simple. And yet when I look back at these dreams, yikes.  I need to tell myself, baby steps. Perseverance and hard work.  Two words of wisdom.  Who is with me?
