Linking up with Go Noodle!

I'm so excited to link up with GoNoodle and Elizabeth at Kickin' It In Kindergarten for their Sanity Savers linky!

Fav GoNoodle Brain Break

This was a tough one - I really do not think we have found a brain break that we did not enjoy.  We do have our favorites but because it's a new year, we have been trying the new brain breaks.  There is no second guessing that my kiddos LOVE Pop See Ko!  I have to secretly admit that I love it too.  When my own two daughters were young, they both danced with their friends to this song and game as well so it brings back some happy memories for me.  It's so nice to see that some things never get old.

Happy Place

If I'm going to really be honest, I would have to tell you that my happy place is not just the beach or poolside but it usually also involves friends, a drink and a good book.  While I love to see and experience new things on vacation, if I really want to relax, all I really need is a good book and a beach or pool.  Simple.

Guilty Pleasure

I know. I know.  When an adult reaches their forty-somethings, one would think one would now act like an adult, right? Get up early, conquer the world before noon on a Saturday.  Well. Maybe not.  I have to confess, hanging out in my pj's until the late hours of Saturday morning is a favorite of mine.  I do live in small town where many local businesses (banks, dry cleaners, etc) close at noon on Saturday so I do need to get those things done, BUT, not any earlier than need be.  I know. Some will call it LAZY. I call it my quiet time. Think what you will.

Keep Calm and...

Pray for a snow day!  Come on people!  By this time last year we had 7 snow days! This year? Zip. Zilch. Nothin'.  We do have some freezing rain and ice in the forecast for Sunday into Monday morning...so...there is hope on the horizon. This couldn't come at a more perfect time.  If you follow me on IG, then you saw that my classroom is getting painted starting on Monday.  I spoke with our painter before I left on Friday and he comes to paint whether we have a snow day or not.  Yippee I say!  I will be teaching in a displaced room with no resources, no smartboard, no computer, no desks, just a few books that we brought down.  To have to 'teach' in that room one less day would be a blessing.  This whole process is only supposed to take 3-4 days so if we are only at school for 2-3 of those days, that would be nice.

That's it! I can't wait to see what everybody else's guilty pleasures are!  I think that is may favorite category in this linky!  It's like true confessions!  Love it! Have a great weekend everybody!
